I love the way you've represented the opposite elements here, and the way you did the background in panels like that is really interesting. kind of like they're separate from the world around them which is fairly typical of airy signs like gemini.

thanks so much i love these girls, and i wanted them to be total opposites as is our sign but i didnt want to do it in the normal way ... sun and moon blah blah blah so i did air and water (more my style) and i didnt want them to be in the bg but i wanted to show where they both came from so this is what popped outta my head. i have to say this is one of my favorite pieces i have done and i appreciate when a fellow gemini enjoys it too! <3

I'm a bit of a nerd about the sign now. I never was -- and still am not really -- a huge astrology follower, but after reading up a little bit about the Gemini traits it was a huge eye-opener and it put a lot about my personality into perspective. since then I've basically been obsessed, if it's not obvious from this comment. xD I made some 100 x 100 gem icons earlier this year: [link] I'm actually in the process of creating a Gemini character (and species) inspired by the sign.

i love my sign and it is weird to actually see how my personality is so much like the characteristics of the sign, kinda eerie but in a good way. ill have to check out the article, i admit im not into astrology either, but when it comes to my sign it peeks my curiosity. your gem icons are so cute i had a look at them and i love them. im so glad that im not the only gemini that gets really into their sign
